Tools 

Something about the right tool for the job...  Besides owning half the Harbor Freight catalog (it's cheap), the MIG Welder and a Plasma cutter I got on eBay have proven to be invaluable in fabrication and modifying the bits needed to make the powertrain work & fit in an X-11.  I originally used a welding cart from Harbor Freight, but it proved to be bulky & cumbersome.  A good buddy of mine turned me on to Linens & Things bankruptcy sale - I got one of their display carts and use it for my welding equipment.. works excellent !!  In addition to your standard hand tools, I'd say the short list of must have tools is a reciprocating saw w/ metal blades, drill with step down bits & wire wheels, and a parts washer...
